Solution Architecture
The venue is covered by a series of hotspots. Essentially a hotspot is defined as an indoor open area of 1600 to 2000m2 or 4-6 adjacent guest rooms in a venue or an outdoor open area of 10,000m2. A hotspot is installed by setting up a wireless access point and connecting it to the network backbone.

Any user with a wireless device (Notebook, PDA, etc…) in the zone of the hotspot can access the high speed internet service.
In Raya the venue’s wireless network is connected to the internet via a network controller. The network controller ensures that only the authorized guests who have purchased the service are allowed internet access.

How the service works?
1. User Opens Browser and tries to connect to the internet.
2. Controller captures session and sends custom login web page.
3. The user enters login name and password and controllers checks with AAA server.
4. Server grants permission sends to controller.
5. User is free to browse Internet.
The provisioning of the service is fully automated and is very simple, the guest can easily connect without any need for technical support.
• The guest buys a prepaid card from the venue.
• When the guest uses a wireless device to access the internet, he is prompted to enter the user ID and password on the card.
• Depending on the type of card the user is granted unlimited access for a day or 5 days.
• The Authorization Authentication and Accounting (AAA) server keeps track of the guest accounts and usage.
• The network controller ensures that there is no unauthorized access to the internet service.
