Firewalls They protect all front end servers from common attacks
[Denial of service, IP spoofing…etc] from the internet.
Back End Firewalls
They
firewalls allow the front end servers to communicate
with the back end servers in a secured and controlled
manner. Because of this setup,customr data in the
backend is never accessible directly through the
internet.
Intrusion
Detection Sensors
They
are placed on every segment of the Data Center LAN,
monitoring the traffic and identifying attack signatures and
reacting automatically by clearing those sessions.
